I was wondering if anyone has ever tried using their stock evo turbo on something else. Like another car or truck. If it's possible I was thinking about trying that.

 

yea ppl do but them on other cars go to you tube and look for a 16g turbo anything and i have also seen them make them into jet engines

^yes, it is pretty cool but I've never seen anyone apply them (I haven't looked in awhile).

 

The TD04 and TD05 are an icon on modded VW Bug and sand dunes. If you are a person like me that goes to car meets, shops,track and reads a lot you will see that many VW bug , sand buggies and VW bug baja custom fits Mitsubishi turbos into a 4 to 1 collecting vertical header(turbo manifold) and the use the Mitsubishi turbos with ot without intercoolers.

there is a guy here is the nw that had his stock 9 turbo on civic. had it down at the track a few times. dont remeber the ets ( fwd FTL) but it trapped like 125-127 till the motor poped.
