so i just installed a forge rs. i tried it out without touching the setting, and it fluttered at low boost, high boost, partial throttle and full throttle. i have now adjusted it both ways and it doesnt really seem to make a difference. anyone else ever have this issue?

im currently running 20psi on a stock viii turbo

Common issue. I drove an Evo with a Forge BOV on it and no matter how it was adjusted it just sucked to drive.

Go full soft on the valve, then adjust up using 5th gear. Mine fluttered slightly in 5th, but beyond that, I liked it. If you do very slight throttle adjustments with your toes that can cause problems. I was always more of and on the gas or off the gas driver.

+1 on going as soft as it can go first and then stiffen it up till it doesn't flutter anymore.

Even though I am using a tial bov, having the spring rate too stiff will cause it to "flutter dump", and I'm pretty sure it will work similar for yours. So having it too stiff will cause it to flutter, just as way too soft will.

also realize that the the rs adjustment dial can be turned MANY times. I can remember turning mine 40+ clicks from full soft to get to get to where i wanted...you may already know this, but i wanted to make sure ur not turning it a few clicks one way or another, expecting a noticeable change from it.

Try softening it even more. Did you read what I posted earlier? Too stiff will make it flutter too.

AND what size hose are you running?....

i'll try softening it a lot more, yea i read what you posted thats why i keep softening it up. i actually dont know what size hose to be honest.

Just to let everyone know, I just got off the phone with a guy at forge motorsport and they're sending me a new valve. I explained the problem to him and also that I had bought the bov used, expecting him to tell me i was $h!t outta luck. He explained to me that it didnt matter. He asked for my name and address and said he was sending me a new valve! Best customer service experience I've ever had. He was very clear that they warranty THE PRODUCT, not just the person who originally buys it. I know first hand, theres a lot of people/companies who should take notes
