That car is one of my favorites but i can't help but feel ripped off when in the interior. You get NOTHING inside. Even the seats suck because they are like a 1/2 inch thick seat on a rollercoaster or something. Trust me i looooove that car and i am not trying to knock it but you kinda know what i mean?? Its alot of money for very little of a physical car i guess. Saying all that, if someone offered me that lotus for my evo it would be the fastest i have ever swapped a key with someone. I would take the lotus in .000001 sec. G/L with it and i hope you love it for a long time!!
^^^Agreed. This is like my pet peeve with magazines like Consumer Reports evaluating sports cars poorly because the ride is stiff. Who needs cupholders, couch-like seats, and a booming stereo!

sick. Hell yeah this is an awesome DD. There's something exciting about driving a rough riding, loud, hot, sports car daily. let's you know you're alive; it makes you feel tough, manly if you will 
. Sure, there will be days where you'll long for a mature, plush and cushy automatic bmw, but those feelings wont last.

congrats! my friend has a baby blue 07 and i got a ride in it once.
be careful:
1) it stops faster than anything else on the road -- esp suv/minivans with soccermoms. so make sure u got plenty of space in front and behind u, else u can easily get rear ended.
2) u're so low u're eye level with exhaust pipes -- others can't see you so be careful when driving around larger vehicles.
other than that, enjoy being gawked at! it's usually old men and young boys that stare at you, and girls too ... that shouldn't be a problem unless you like young men

Are you serious?!?! Yes i understand it is a ultra light handling machine therefore it should be bare, but do you understand when i say thats why i wouldnt purchase one because it is so bare? How hard is that to understand?? Would you really want to Daily drive in a car like that?? You dont know about lotus if you think they build there cars for daily use. I have a few friends that have lotus' including a couple old esprits. You can say i know about lotus, especially since i am a european car enthusiast. Please dont make stupid comments when you are in fact the one who is wrong.

Your a european car enthusiast? hahaha, anyone can call themselves that, I'm a chicken wing enthusiast. And your friends have lotus cars so you know about them? That's not good support at all, give some real evidence. So say my brother drives a lamborghini does that make me a lamborghini technician? Anyone can say anything on the internet, give me some real evidence about you knowing about lotus cars.
And when did I say in my post that lotus built the exige for daily driving? I would love for you to point that out. You talk about how a lotus is uncomfortable and seats .5 inch thick blah blah blah. Then you talk about how you would have one in a heart beat in .00001 seconds. You seem to be critiquing the car in your post so in reality it's you who doesn't know what the car is all about. Saying that there is no carpeting bare and BS like that shows you don't know why Lotus built their cars like that.
