sold the evo. lotus exige s delivered today
hey guys thanks for the comments. i will give a better comparison once i get some more seat time on it. it snowed last night so i parked it, missing awd at teh moment, but snow tires will be here this coming week. got a chance to try the traction control system out this morning, and i think it will do just fine in the snow.
im about 5'10 or so, so getting in and out is a chore, but it fits like a glove once youre inside. as for teh rear view mirror, there isnt one. i do have a rear view camera thats on at all times though.
and to you boostInurI, you just dont get it. yes its a go cart with a heater and a windsheild, has a/c too.

...I would never trade my EVO for one of these... Even my wife could stomp at it (with me inside), by simply driving her Sienna back out to the drive-way... I would not even appear in her rear live-view video feed..
...But what's really concerning is to just be happily driving on the highway... just to find some EVOs which I would have to look upwards while they wipe my *** in 3rd to 4rd gear pull...
Talk about a juvenile mosquito amidst a flock of rabid hornets...
Enjoy!

The haters on here are hilarious.
I admit im guessing that car will be tough to drive in New England snow but looking past the daily driven aspect lotus's are amazing.
Good luck....I think you made a great purchase. Not too many Lotus's driving around in my neck of the woods so im guessing you will see many turning heads where you live as well.

hahhahah i dont know what to think. who would have thought guys driving evos would be such panzies. this is a DD and im gonna rock the **** out of it in the snow. the traction control is awesome in this thing. all i need are some snow tires.
for those who complained about what you get for the money, its about what you dont get. obviously you just dont get it. the seats, yea they are very thin, but my back actually feels better in them in the last few days than the evo, no lie. the seating position is just that much better for me. i thought the seating position of the evo was damn near perfect until i lowered myself into this car.
let me lay it out for you
if i wanted something that would roast an evo on the highway i would have dropped 40K+ on a supra.
if i was worried about the winter, i wouldnt own the car. please, in the worst winter you spend what, 15% of your time in the really bad stuff?
if getting in and out was an issue for me, i wouldnt own the car.
i do have every intention of tracking this car.
did i mention how rare it is yet?
listen guys. im 25. life is too short to drive a boring car. i was bored of the evo. sorry you dont all love my choice but i could give a ****. i figured it would be a hit around here, but o well, i guess thats why there are so many car companies.
at the end of the day this is an upgrade in every sense of the word. this car is eveything the evo wasnt. and did i mention its rare?

Hence, I brake, and therefore turn for street racer crowds...
