Quote: A lotus is the stupidest car ever for a DD, lmao. Jeremy Clarkson should have taught you that.

ah man some middle aged British guy decided my car isnt meant for daily use? i better sell it before the rest of the car driving public finds out. thanks for the heads up bro. You're a sheep.
enjoy going around spewing out someone else's opinions as your own. btw stupidest isn't a word, you meant most stupid. either way, i love this car.

people getting bent out of shape because you have an awesome car.

They are just blinded by the Evo. I'd rock the Exige any day of the week.

gorgeous car! i almost picked up an elise as a DD before when i was car shopping, i decided by sending in papers on the EVO, an STi, 335i, and the elise. the bank for the EVO responded first so i got the EVO an couldn't be happpier.

Maybe one day i will be able to get an elise or exige.

Quote: luckily for me i dont have kids, and very few other obiligations (mortgage excluded) so im at a point in my life when i can enjoy a truly ridiculous daily driver. the evo was an amazing car for what it is. i will always love that car, and it really got me into the whole performance scene, but the lotus is just on another level.
did i mention i was offered an aston martin as a loaner car for the afternoon when the lotus gets a checkup tomorrow? youre lucky to get a cup of coffee at mitsu.
all in all, its an entirely new experience for me, and i cant wait to get some more power out of it and get it on a proper track. there's more to life than straight roads.

some of you get where im at, and obviously a lot dont.

to those of you who know me or not and posted here wishing me well i apreciate it. to the philly guys i plan on driving it down sometime, hopefully for a autox day with you guys in the spring.
Yeah baby... thats what I'm talking about.

Does the exige have a diamond plated floor? I know the elise does.

Yes, I saw that Top Gear too and sure the Exige is no Phantom but if you want, you can daily drive any factory car. Jeremy Clarkson is just old and fat. Jeremy also send the Evo has too much turbo lag...

Enjoy your sports car man.

the floor isnt diamond plated, its bare aluminum. its the bare shell of the car.

ok well now my foot is in my mouth. its in the shop. issue with the supercharger, and a small oil leak. the tires (toyo r888) are so worn its crazy that i got through the slush to get to the dealership today. traction control only kicked in 3 times in the 12 miles it took to get there. so hopefully tomorrow once they get the rear clam off, they will be able to diagnose the issue and get me back on the road asap.

by the way.. the dealership was a candy store

lambo miura sv
6 aston martins on the floor including a dbs
3 lotus
jaguar e type coupe
shelby cobra
gullwing 300sl and on and on...

Damn dude, you got ***** to DD an Exige. I thought the Evo was rough and lacking in luxuries.

Hope you don't plan on going on any dates in that thing though.

DRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLL, So sick in white!!!!!!

Im 6'2" and sat in a regular elise once. It took me like a good minute to bend and fold myself to get inside it. I would still kill to have one as a daily driver.

Was it the Aston Martin/Lotus dealership? I forgot the name of it but I test drove a black Exige there in the rain, the traction control gave me seizures. Small parking lot in the front, small street, lots of glass around the building right?

Never ever EVER let someone crash into that car, you do not want to see what the repair costs are. That said, my experiences with an Exige/Elise have been nothing but amazing! I've given selling my RS for an Exige as well...maybe one day.

Yikes, you're rolling on R888s? That's kinda suicide in any temps below 50* or so. I would highly recommend that you don't drive it anymore until you get proper all season or snow tires on there.
