anyone know why 94-97 supra cost so much it range from 20k+ which is like a evo 9 mr it is because their rare now a days or good amount of power or somthing i really like to know.

 

the demand for those cars is high. when people want something prices go up.

 

supras a rare very rare, people who want supras is because they want them.
Good thing about that enigine is that it will make 500RWH easy with no problems on stock engine stock turbos but the low end power is so nice that if you are usto driving an evo the 2jz willl feel like 600 whp

 

supply and demand. its what makes pricing for everything in your life.

 

Sorry to say the EVO 8 MR is way more rare then the EVO 9 MR there was way more 9 MR's made then the 8 MR think only like 1000-1500, and the 9 MR 2500-4000.

my EVO 8 MR has a 6 speed, the reason why some evo 8 mr's have 5 speeds is because they swap a 5 speed into them thats all.

The only problem is you wont get to put the power down till 4th gear, but besides that your good

 

please see your high school's basic economics class for any further answers. while you're there, drop in on an english class or two.

as for why they dont make it. tons of reasons:
cost to design a new model.
demand for coupes dropped off the deep end in the mid-late 90s.
low profit margins
just to name a few...
but im sure if Toyota knew you loved the car so much, they certainly would have continued to build it. perhaps a kind letter to toyota might sway them. have your teacher proof read it for spelling errors first.

 

supras were built like a economy supercar.... everything was overbuilt. injectors dont need upgrading until high 400whp, the drive train is bulletproof and so is the famous motor. only thing that isnt bulletproof is the twin turbos but its still good.

its not just fast and furious that made supra so legendary with the import crowd... not saying its perfect (it does have flaws) but the cars not a hype.

by the way i had a bpu+++ for about a year.... its a well built car, timeless looks and rare. $20k+ is fair for a clean example.

 

i would not mind having a semi stock auto TT supra to make a new project out of.. i was considering either selling my evo for one or a trade. there such a nice car. in a way im glad toyota stopped making them. it makes them a little more enjoyable.
