2011 Subie WRX and STi threads - Merged.
I agree... now that the WRX has the same paneling of the STi and nearly the same horsepower, whats the point on wasting money to have the STI logo for alot more money... we'll see.
Don't know bout you guys but with this paneling I take it anyday over Lancer or Ralliart.... well I prefer the Wagon WRX over the Sedan.

It looks like a tuner shop's exercise, not particularly good or bad. When Mitsu does a midcycle update on the X, or rolls out an XI - I hope they produce a cleaner design rather then go a bit overboard like that one looks to me.
What you just described are details. The fundamentals of the WRX and STI: AWD, turbo boxer, layout, chassis, body - are the same. Two "fundamentally" different cars would be comparing a Civic to an Odyssey.
