You must not have them fools that roll around with their double decker wings on their hooptie civic. that wing looks like on of those wings with out the lower level.

How does upgrading on the IX in almost every way count as a landmark mistake?

The most important upgrade - street cred - was not there. That's what sells Evos. Well, that and ones response on the Reptilian level, which was even less impressive. The car tested poorly on its introduction, adding to its lack of cred, and went downhill from there. The Evo costumer doesn't want this car, and the non-Evo costumer doesn't, either. Hardly a marketing success on any level.

you are obviously talking out of your ***.

EvoX sells quite well, so I don't know where your "poor sales", info is coming from. And from reading forums, everyone that upgraded from 8 or 9 is happy they did.

Also, since Mitsu doesn't compete in WRC it doesn't mean that EvoX is not used for Rallying on other levels. Power and handling is clearly superior to previous generations.

I don't understand. The X handles better and goes around a track faster than the IX while having a better interior and exterior. What is this cred your are talking about and what are you talking about that EVO customers don't want the car? Maybe you don't like it but you can't generalize that you are the typical EVO customer. The X is the better overall car whether you want to believe it or not.

Spoiler looks like the one on the X, I think this is one ugly car, I prefer the look of the older models.

Its a bit OT but the Evo X gained weight and is (for me) too expensive for what it is.

Like a 15 year old Supra, a 25 year old Grand National, or a 40 year old 454 Chevelle. Out of personal curiosity, when did you decide to get "into cars?"

You're right. The X was very well received. No 09 model year due to poor sales, 0% financing, lease deals, factory incentives, and they still couldn't find enough folks to buy the '08s before the '10s arrived.

Guys, this isn't about which car is better. It's about the car's position in the marketplace. If you can't relate to the difference between the two concepts, we might as well call it quits right here.

Am I the only 1 that misses the good old mid-late 90's 5 door STI wagon? Like the ones on the original Gran Turismo? I don't think they could ever top that body design...just screamed rally...
