I am not bashing anyone just correcting what someone says about a bmw 335i, clearly I own one so I know some more facts and specs then other would!!

I hate the seats in a STI! and to many damn kids driving that car and no doubt probably think they can drive like ken block!

I cant wait to get a evo I come on this fourm everyday now and before it was only bmw fourm! I just cant wait to get put in my seat because boost is in action!!

you crazy selling the 335i for an evo trust me. If you want more power awdperformance and ETS are both working on a single big turbo kits for 335i right now.

 

Looks good! I also own a 335i. They are fun cars. The evo definitely has more modifications available for now... We have a bunch of products for the 335i being released shortly which might change things a little.

 

Hey everyone keeps telling me I am crazy for trying to sell my car and get a evo. Many people tell me the bmw is more classy and nice looking and the evo is just all sport! I do understand that is true but I need more sport now!! I feel like I should be going to the track a lot next summer so I should get a evo!

I do know many single turbo kits are going to be coming out which are going to cost about 5 grand or more, if I got a turbo upgrade that would put me at 14grand.

If I buy a evo and put 5 or 6 grand into wouldnt I be 500whp or maybe even higher?

Ets I have seen some of your stuff on the bimmer forums! Cant wait to see a single turbo kit it might just change my mind!

But for now I still want a evo

 

I don't think you're crazy. IF you want max potential for performance, you want an Evo. If you want some luxury, some sport, and ridiculously high priced mod path with ultimately less overall potential, go 335i. I do not even consider prestige as a factor.

I had a 335i, a 135i, and some different Evos. Just with intakes and a good tune (PROcede), an N54 will walk all over an Evo IX at speed, but not on a racetrack. When you upgrade the turbo in the Evo, its definitely game over BMW. Have fun.

I race evos on the street and let me tell you I have whooped many 9's and 8's but if a evo was at a red light and we both launched I would get treated! But on the highway it pulls like a freight train! I dont have the procede I have there enemy tune which is the juice box.

I rather get a e90 m3 over a e92 any day a sedan looks betteR!(just my thought)

 

I would say there are advantages to the E90 but I still prefer the E92 body lines. With the larger flares on the M3 is matches the longer body very well. This is where I feel the 335i lacks in aesthetics as it's fairly long but a narrower body. The E90 seeing it's 4dr usually creates a stiffer chassis and sometimes offers better weight distribution but a properly setup E92 M3 is like sex on wheels.

As soon as they offer the 4.4 making around 450hp NA in their standard M3...not the 6 figure overpriced comp one I will be going to the bank. I think a 450hp DCT M3 at around 60k will redefine the market in that respect. Who knows if that will happen though...we can only dream.
