NEED ADVICE! focus evo, or focus skyline?

Hey all, Im having a 19 year old crisis. I just got my evo about a month and a half ago and im LOVING IT! Before I got it , I thought I would want to beat on it and have fun and race it.. But now that I have it. I just want to take care of it and not break it....

SOOOOO

Do I do up my evo to make it an 11 second car and focus on my evo....
OR
Do I buy a 1999 Skyline Turbo for 5993 ( I already found it )
( plus 2000 for shipping from japan)

and make that really fast and screw around with that so I dont lose the reliablilty in my evo and keep it nice..

Dont know what to do. but also, Doing my evo up is better for me financially oppose to getting the skyline.

EDIT: Here is the link to the skyline http://www.japan-partner.com/Auto/17...-for-sale.html

Not to be that guy but...

Have you looked into actually importing the skyline? The is very against importing of them, in fact, there is a big petition be signed trying to allow them to be freely imported. It is not going to be a cheap route as you're making it out to be ($5993 + $2000shipping) there are much more requirements to that... when that car comes into port it under goes inspection and you will have to pay a hefty price to get it close to legal in the states....

If I were you, I would stick with the evo. Unless you have some crazy job as a 19 year old making 6digits + and living at home free or something Otherwise, just enjoy the Evo

Its not that easy to just bring a skyline into the country. To modify a older skyline is very expensive as well.
Go do your homework

Dont act like I dont do my homework.. I asked a question, everyting is taken care of.. I even have a guy in Japan that will look at the car for me to make sure its not a lemon... Stop assuming things and just answer the question..

THANKS FOR NOTHING

That is a hell of a price on the Skyline though, a friend of mine paid $27k for a '97 R33 GT-R a few years back. But look at how many GT-Rs have 900-1000whp and only run 10s. Evos can do it with half the power and cost.

How many Evos do you see in the US vs how many Skylines do you see in the US?

I'd go with the Skyline if I could.

Its cheaper in japan, he probably got his from the US. and it takes 2000 dollars to ship, but there are also other fees. There are many low priced skylines for sale in japan, but in america its so expensive because its so convenient

He had it imported and it was extremely clean. If you can afford the GT-R and are prepared for the extra cost/time to have your dream car, go for it.
