Bottom-line, his car was faster in 3rd and 4th, I walk him above 125. Both cars are very different now. I recently modded with headers, hybrid k16 turbos, cams, bigger heads, intake, new software, etc. He's done a lot of work to the car since last summer as well. He is still faster and spent a lot less than me, but in the end he's still driving a Mitsubishi. No doubt if I were looking for a 10 sec daily street car, I'd get an Evo. But I believe my S4 is the better all around sleeper car that can walk 911TT's.
Bimmer/Merc boys make comments like "In the end, it's still an Audi" This Mitsubishi Evo was built like Audi built the RS4 not your b5 S4!

You've obviously never been in or even seen an RS4. An EVO isn't even close to being in the same league with any Audi, including my wife's Allroad. Go back to comparing yourself to Suburu's.

How much HP can you get out of those two turbos?
I can get more out of my stock twin scroll - I win

Put in those KO4's - I'll put in a GT35r - I win

Next mod = 1 blown up b5!

What is the main difference with your block and the RS4 block?

What does my block and the RS4 block have in common?

Go back to the Audiforum

I have owned two Audi's.

Oh yeah, was it last year at the tunerfest at Hockenheim that MTM's 603hp RS4 lost to an Evo?

MTM cars are weaksauce - they weren't making 603hp. Read my original post - if I wanted a drag car, I'd buy a cheap EVO, have Dave put $15k into it and have a 10 sec car. If I want an all around car that will spank your Stage 1+, I'll stick to my B5.

And speaking of tuners, Vishnu? You've got to be kidding me.

Blow hot breath or cold bits all you want. In the end those who spent less for a more all around car will be enjoying the two fold victory of having more money in their pockets and a quicker, faster, better handling car..

Is it a big challenge to spend a lot of money to go fast? I always thought it was a challenge to be innovative and a winner.

oh

I can read all about the hottest S4 evry month in European Car.

1. You need to upgrade to coilovers to keep up with a stock Evo.

2. You need to chip the car to keep up with a stock Evo.

3. Do I need to go on?

You have a beautiful interior - does that shave any time off that 3600 lb. car? MTM = weak sauce? Oh yeah, APR is cutting edge - So is TAP! Dude - stop it, you're making an **** out of yourself and killing your bank account trying to make that thing something that it is not!

You still haven't answered any of my questions?

stock vs. stock you lose
stage vs. stage you lose

Intercoolers, oil coolers, and turbos, oh my! What else do ya need to get that thing to move?

See ya on Audi World
