Dream car
out of curiosity, why not a twin-turbo F-body that is just as fast (or faster) but MUCH cheaper?

2000 Nissan Skyline GTR R34 – Midnight Purple (listed for $62k CAD)
2001 Nissan Skyline GTR R34 – Z Tune Style (listed for $95k CAD)
Although I doubt it you would want to "load it with goodies" when you actually get your hands on an R34. They are so rare and so expensive these days that most owners just drive them stock(-ish) so the car lasts.
Canadians are importing a lot of these R34s since they became federally legal in Canada in 2014. My local dealer, RightDrive, is almost selling one of these every week. Here are two of these listing for sale, here I post it so you can have a fantasy:

if the midnight purple (a rare color, from what I understand) is $43k U.S., I'd consider getting one in another color. I have NO problem spending $40k on one if I could get it in white. overpriced? yes. but so is ever other car I want. have you checked the price of a '69 Charger lately?
