If I were you, I may also consider taking another loan (from family, for example) to pay the Evo, lowing the payments so you can build up your wealth.

And then keep the Evo for a long, long time without switching cars. Here by switching cars I mean owning a different car every several years like most people do. In this way you can use what you have saved on not switching cars to pay off the loan.

After all, we lose the most when we buy a new car and when we switch cars.

The Mk7 R is getting great reviews. 1/4 mile with just a tune they are hitting 12.2
Everything about the new R is much improved it looks like. Perhaps the evo's and sti's have some healthy competition coming to America soon?
