I test drove an '02 WRX for the first time yesterday and it absolutely blew me away, and it seems like what I was trying to go for when I bought my OZ. It's only 7k more than what my OZ is worth as a trade to the Subaru dealer. I am deciding weather or not to Turbo my Lancer or go for the WRX...BTW, it's used for $25,000 CAN, with 75,000 km. My OZ has 40,000.

Ya, I've heard so many amazing things about them - and to be honest I don't want one is because I hate how Neon's look...call me crazy...but then again I've never driven one so I guess I can't say.. Plus the AWD of the WRX is amazing.

 

WRX is sweet, but im gonna turbo my lancer. For the price its going to be much better off. How much are they giving you for your OZ?

 

around $15, 000 Can, but a Tax credit to narrow the difference to about $7,000.

 

If you can afford a WRX, you can afford an RS. The choice is yours!

 

i would go for the WRX, there's like tons of upgrades for it

 

Get the REX. Much better platform than an OZ, plus the benifits of AWD you cant go wrong. Not to mention it will hold better value in the long run. I had a WRX before my EVO. It had a Vishnu stage zero set-up, slightly over a grand, and it was nearly as fast as my stock EVO.

I would suggest a WRX. Go over the car make sure it is a winner. Otherwise go SRT-4

I want to WRX so bad, it was so awesome to drive in every way, plus it sounded mean compared to my ..well U know.. all 120 horses of it

 

i say the rex coz i wanted one before i got my gti..but things didnt work out so i ended up wit the gti

 

WRX....that car is a monster....my friend drive one...with...maybe around 1,500 worht of mods...that thing is for real no joke...it's probably as fast or maybe lil faster than my pretty much stock evo

 

Get the REX. I had the wagon before my EVO and it was a great car. I had similar mods to sr20det91 and it was a blast. Also, you **** away big dollars on the turbo kit for your OZ that you can never recover.
