I'd say wait... simply because you KNOW that the Focus will now be supercharged, and SVT will probably do it. You'd be looking at a Focus with over 200 ponies, and, well, that's alot for that small car. Just my opinion.

The thing is...that engine has no internal mods done and its probably being pushed to the max. I read something about it so far and it was reviewed ....It got a "good bang for the buck" review.... I dunno well see.

Looks aside, if you're talking pure performance, a SC'd Focus by SVT would be outstanding... and relatively inexpensive. Look at what they did with the recently SC'd Cobra... near Z06 performance at bargain basement prices.

But, who knows, predicting what execs will do, and what they will do with there car designs is like trying to pick the winning lotto numbers out of a hat.

The thing with that Mazda is that it can outhandle most cars on the road. My friend has a Mp3, throwing that around corners at high speeds has never been so fun. Adding a turbo also gives you all sorts of options in the mods category. If I didnt hate FWD with a passion, Id get one. Bleh, they look so nice.

Doesn't Jackson Racing have an super for the SVT Focus? Although the power gains from it are not worth the cash according to most.

Yes, I think they do, but, I'd imagine that the SVT version would be gobs cheaper installed... But, who knows?

Thing about the Neon being a "****box"... there are rumors that the SRT Neon will be based off of our own Lancer platform. Just what I've heard, so, if you've heard different...

The NEXT generation Lancer and Neon will be based off the same platform. And that probably won't be till 2005 or later...
