The BBC has today released the following statement regarding Top Gear.

“Following a fracas with a BBC producer, Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time.”

Huge bummer about the show though. I was really hoping to see the P1/918/LaFerarri matchup.

 

 

I wouldn't believe even the punctuation marks written by this Ian Morris who tries to blame BBC with a bunch of weasel words. If BBC is having troubles negotiating contract renewal with Clarkson, they can simply delay the Top Gear show by announcing some vaporware. It is not logical for BBC to claim that Clarkson has punched people just to buy their time to negotiate a contract.
