Am I the only one that skips over these paragraphs? LOL
How about they leave the crap off the car and give me the lighter curb weight/sticker price, please?

Unfortunately, that's what most people pay attention to... Although now that you pointed it out, I view keyless start as a bad thing... Makes installing remote start a bigger pain... And then I gotta figure out what to do with the stupid keys when I drive since I don't carry around a purse with me
At least currently, the Acura remote start is now integrated into the keyless entry key fob, so no extras anymore. Should fit in your pocket no problem. The truth is, if a car like this which will still cost of $60-100k I'd imagine didn't have all this tech stuff.... then car junkies everywhere would be mocking it because of its costs and blah blah blah doesn't come with blah blah blah, competitors blach blah blah.... You get the point. Not to mention there is a methodology when it comes to the Acura line up of what tech the cars get.
This car maybe 'affordable' but IMO if you can't afford a brand new Cayman to a 911 base, you can't afford this baby NSX

If you want a car which costs < $40k you'll have to wait for the s2k successor...
Just wait for the club racer version to come out at the end of the production run. Will give you time to save up the $70k+ this car will likely cost.
If you are looking for a bargain no frills sports car the Exige S will likely be the benchmark for many years to come.

With the death of the Evo.....every single manufacture is eating out our carcass. The STi looks like the CZ4A, the RS wants our handling and now the Type R want that "IT" factor element synonymous to the evo brand. I very happy though to see a turbocharged Honda....I hope the S2000 comes with a similar turbo powerplant to perhaps compete against the New Miata.
According to this review, Honda's European Civic Type R's fitted dual-axis strut front suspension reduces torque steer at the expense of steering feel:
"There’s no question it’s promising – and doubtless effective at posting a sub-eight minute at you-know-where – but there’s more to life than that. If you’re looking for the last word in communication and engagement, the Type R isn’t the car to provide that.
The steering, consistent and accurate though it is, is less impressive than the mechanical grip; it’s a less engaging steer than the one you get through Renault Sport’s feel-some rack. Likewise I think, although I’d want a back-to-back test to be sure, less torque steer gets through to the Honda; at the expense of some precision and insight."
"Despite Honda’s work on the front end, it’s a compromise impossible to circumnavigate in a really powerful front-driver. When you knock back torque steer, you knock back road feel. So in the Honda there are only muted tugs at the rim, but likewise less immediacy with the road."
