Skimmed through the article and didn't see it. Will it be fail wheel drive?
EDIT: Just looked up the 0-60 and it was pretty bad for the power the car is making (5.7). Guessing it's FWD, yuck. Weird that the Car and Driver article didn't say though.

With the death of the Evo.....every single manufacture is eating out our carcass. The STi looks like the CZ4A, the RS wants our handling and now the Type R want that "IT" factor element synonymous to the evo brand. I very happy though to see a turbocharged Honda....I hope the S2000 comes with a similar turbo powerplant to perhaps compete against the New Miata.

Yea i feel like honda really let us down on this with another fwd platform... You can torque vector and use all kinds of differentials but at the end of the day its still fwd..

I'll never understand why Honda sets out to make these sports cars like the type r and makes them fwd, aside from trying to be the fast fwd car around the ring. Which who cares

I was refering to the pics in the OP... I didn't realize that wasn't the Type R
after a little googling, I guess its not too bad... but still pretty outlandish. personally I think all honda/acura styling has gone downhill after the first gen TSX, the TL that they made during that gen looked pretty good too, the RSX (and I just bought one ) was already a bit on its way down compared to the Integra. IMHO the best hondas/acuras aesthetically were the late 90's early 00's

Exactly such a waste. I got enough of the boosted FWD from my girls Slobalt SS. Could spin the tires through the first 3 gears from a dig, such a waste. Had great seats though.

I'm actually proud that Honda is finally trying something different. That new turno civic in white looks great to me. Makes buying a new daily driver Honda not such a bad idea. Should cost a good bit less than the new rs too
