If I wanted a more luxiorious ride, I'd go with an S4. It's about 45 large and the EVO can keep right up with it...but it's more family/luxury oriented.

Audi is really starting to cram displacement into their cars now! Of course, a majority of EVO owners would love to race you and hand your *** to you, especially since you paid 15k more!

Yeah, you probably got the wrong car. I say go for it. The Evo is not for everyone... good luck.

The Audi's are way better than ANY lexus because of AWD. So are the new volvos and infiniti G35 X which has the EXACT same AWD computer controlled differential as the skyline. RWD at first AWD when needed.

I understand you need luxury but think about dying while sliding out in a RWD car. The AWD may save you and your families life one day.

Conclusion: Get a AWD luxury car.

i agree with you carphoto.net, if you are looking for something more luxurious but still sporty, I would definitely take a good look at the G35 Infinity, that is a better mix of sports and luxury then the IS300. Good Luck

The IS has been out awhile and looks dated. I can't see how many people buy new cars just to get rid of them right away. What a waste of money. Your loss is somebody's gain on your traded Evo.

Keep the evo,

I was looking at the IS also but it is older, not as much HP, and will take way more cash to mod and make it anywhere near as fun as the EVO.

Plus, new IS set to debut next year. Basically, I would wait to see what they are going to do with it, otherwise if you really want to change, I would also recomend the G35 X and upcoming GS300 AWD.

Isnt there a new concept called the IS430? I saw it on TV. Looked badass.

If you do get the lexus. Drop the supra engine in it. Its been done already. Imagine a luxury car hauling ***. You got best of both worlds. But of course you wont have the best handling in the world.

that guy

According to Road & Track and me as well, lexus is that guy who is trying to be in the in crowd. Always hanging where he shouldn't be, acting like he belongs. Trying to fit in and be more than he is. Don't sell out with a Lexus, at least get what an is300 is trying to be, a Bimmer.

Well, I think that I can give you the best advice out of everyone here since I currently own an EVO, and I used to have a 2002 IS 300 speed.

If you can handle the huge drop in horsepower, handling, and the fact that it's gonna be redesigned very soon, then get the lexus. If not, then stick with your EVO.

btw, the IS 300 is slow, the best time that I ever got at the dragstrip was 15.4@89mph. sure you can turbo it, but it's atleast $5,000.
