Selling my evo 8 for lexus is300

ok...i know i'm gonna get it for asking but...i plan to sell my evolution 8 for a lexus is 300 : my reasons are quite simple i would say. lexus is more luxory and i like the ride height. but my evo 8 has far more horse power and i love my seats . honestly i don't know there are pros and cons for each car what do u think?

well i've riden in a turbo'd is300, and stock internals and block that thing can hold like 10 psi.. man it has some ***** to the wall power... like ~450 whp... you can always put recaros in a lexus

I think its a fair trade

I think you know everyone's answers to this one. And you are asking some very biased group of people. If you're looking for some convincing to stick with the Evo, then you asked the right question.

What color is your evo? I may be interested in buying it. I live in Phoenix.

I don't get it?
They are two different type of cars
If you wanted the luxury with some performance why didn't you get the IS in the first place?

Honestly, it depends on what you are looking for in a car.

The IS is a very beautiful car and very luxurious with some speed to it. The evo is more of a driver's car who loves the sheer joy he/she gets out of driving it.

Up to you, take it out for a test, see how you like it.

yeah, you can sup up the is300 but it costs too much, anyways if you do get lexus you will miss the handling of the evo....

I drove an is300 for 2 months while my buddy was suffering from a dui. I would trade my evo for a few cars in a is300 price range, but DEFINATELY not an is300. The car is cheap to a point of stupidness for the price tag that it has, there are better ways to spend your money.

If you even have to question that, then I think you bought the wrong car. The Evo is a performance car for people who can deal with things like stiff ride and squeky breaks because all we care about is performance. The lexus is a nice car but their not in the same class.

Go ahead and sell your Evo and buy an is300, but your just going to look like every other 16 year old chick in high school.

Insidious EVO: Haha...it's funny that you said that, becuase this girl told me she's considering the IS for her first car . She's rich and spoiled by the way.

Well, like mentioned before, you shouldn't be asking such a question on this forum, as most of us like the evo for a reason: pure joy. I actually surfed on is300.net a while back and saw some nice stuff. The is300 is great looking, but in my mind, for the price, a Lexus should have a nicer interior. The materials are fine, but the overall look of the dash and cluster is way too "cheap" looking. And yes, they can be turboed fairly well, but it'll take alot of cash to do it well. Also, though it handles well for a RWD car, it cannot compare at all to an EVO. So, I say stay with the evo.
