Rob, how do you prepare for things like the Mt. Washington hill climb if you are always working? Is it just the practice runs you have right before the event?

I have never really been able to make two cars work. The "second" car usually just sits. But then if I get rid of the Evo because I'm not really using as it should, I couldn't get a car with anywhere near it for the price.

Basically, if I did it, it would be Fiesta ST for Evo swap and payments disappearing. I do prefer smaller cars...

Side note, I just realized my Miata shift knobs work on the evo. I have learned that I'm not a fan of metal shift knobs. Good Lord they get hot. I also have lingering thoughts that I should get it in gear without weighted knobs helping me.

I love having two vehicles, and so does my wife. My Evo has turned into much more then occasional use and track day car. The wife's MR is more the weekend car now (needs more mods though LOL). For work, she drives her focus, and I drive my F150.

The best thing about two vehicles is you don't ever feel you have to rush to finish installs/fixes on one car so you can drive to work in the morning.

The flip side is it can make you lazy and have one car on jack stands forever...

Ford has big ($4k) rebates on the Focus. Why is it more than the Fiesta?

I've done the almost permanent jack stand routine earlier in my life.

It has happened in Auto X as well with stock suspension and grippier tires.
