Camaro SS 1LE Verses Mustang GT Performance Pack
My issue was when I was sitting in the seat with a helmet on, I literally could not turn my head enough or tilt far enough to actually see the people walking around the car. On track it really is NBD becasue Im not looking at whats next to the car. It was just very disconcerning dealing with having no idea where people were around me.
Of course, Im pretty use to the Evo now which you can see everything...

Some 2019 details for the Camaro update. The eternal battle continues...well, other than when the Camaro was dead.

Mainly because it definitely isn't Performance Pack 1. That's my judgement from hanging out on the Camaro6 board, on and off, for almost a couple of years. I still think the 1LE will be aster though.
I really really really like the new PP2 Mustang GT. So much that I would consider buying one and I've never thought about owning a Mustang in my life. I can't wait to see more real world testing come out about this car.
I think the PP2 is a great package if you plan on leaving the car stock. If you plan to follow anything beyond SCCA STP rules, then a base model certainly makes more sense. Either way, I really like the new car except the weight. I really wish we could get 400-500lbs out of the car with the same drivetrain.
I really wish the SS 1LE was a ZL1 1LE minus the blower (similar to the Grand Sport Vette being pretty identical to the Z06 minus the blower). Both cars may offer the 1LE package, but not including the blower, the ZL1 is still leaps and bounds above the SS.
that would be the Z28... if the PP2 Mustang tops the SS 1LE, GM will have the excuse to make a Z28
well the previous gen had a Z28 and a ZL1... GM doesn't put a huge emphasis on staying true to historical trim levels. Personally I don't care, as long as they make a badass car...
