190 mph Evo 1/2 mile Street car.

I've followed this car for years and its the definition of the ultimate high HP Street Evo IMO. Full weight, AC and normal tires. Full radiator , standard placement turbo kit with recirculated wastegates. It was built in south Florida over a decade ago and still has the same engine (94 MM 2.2) it had in 2007. Besides going to a Drenth transmission and AEM Infinity its been mostly the same for a long time. A few guys that were at the half mile mentioned the guy driving it back to South Florida after the event. If I won the lottery I would build something very similar.

For a 245-255 tire it puts it down really well .

The surface is loose asphalt for landing airplanes so traction was limited

Needs a strain gauge on the shifter.

The shifting kinda reminds me of one of my favorite vids of an evo with an aftermarket gearbox. Definitely not as much of a sleeper though haha

Its a purpose built car so most of the miles are hard ones. Here's a video from 2012 and it shows 21258.

The mileage at the 1/2 mile "looks" like 27K at the 4:11 mark but its hard to tell.

Yes, that does look like 27k ish miles. I understand its a racecar that doesn't see that many miles, I was just curious since it is definitely impressive that the motor held up for over 10 years. Very nice!
