Actually there is a 5th gen hatch for sale rn with a full evo 8 motor/drivetrain! 25k
yea ive seen hondas do this more than afew times, however i don't think a single evo went k..this says something does it not?...also civic engine bays look so filled with the 4g in them, i didn't think the 4 g was so "big" in size for an inline 4.

I wouldn't want to be stuck finding a way to make the k series work in an evo. That's mostly due to the all-wheel drive system we have, not a knock on the k series.
If it mated to our transmissions and transfer cases, I wouldn't have much of an issue with it.
Consider the block of the 4B11. It certainly appears more beastly than the K20 w/the reinforced cylinder wall pillars and what appears to be thicker cylinder walls. Even the 4B11 needs sleeves at certain high HP levels
Honestly, after looking at the K20 vs the 4B11, which is actually a better comparison vs the 4G, i am a bit disappointed w/the weaker looking K20 block (totally understand it can hold great NA pwr)
Anyways, sorry guys if im getting off topic. This thread just got me looking into this. Great thread for sure
