Lambo or Ferrari?

The Ford GT beats the Ferrari 360 Modena bigtime. Their both the same price($150,000) but the Ford GT gets 500 BHP and 500 lb.-ft. of torque out of it's supercharged dohc 5.4 liter v-8 while the Modena gets 395 BHP and 275 lb-ft of torque out of its dohc 3.6 liter V-8. The GT gets better mileage(14/21 to 10/16). Although, the 360 Modena is lighter and has the best brakes EVER!

I've only driven one Ferrari, and it was a 1991 512 TR, and truthfully, some things didn't impress me. The windshield was very steeply raked, so it was incredibly difficult to get a good idea of where the nose of the car was, regardless of seating position. The fit and finish wasn't what you would expect either. Considerable gaps in the dash panels, the center console had quite a bit of give, and the doors didn't seem to line up well with the rear quarter panel.
Granted, that wasn't Ferrari's best time, and one of the reasons why the NSX was considered such a steal when it was released. Fortunately, they quickly fixed those problems and I don't think you'd see that again nowdays, or ever.
I haven't been able to drive one of the angry bulls, but I have had seat time in a Gallardo. Fit and finish was excellent, and never have I see a speedomoter climb that fast when north of 120mph... one of the few cars I've ever been in that I've ever felt uneasy -- the only other really being a Lotus Esprit Turbo SE, which I simply believe hated me.

I voted Lambo just to see the results (yeah, I'm lazy). In truth, my pecking order:
Enzo > 360 CS > Gallardo > 360 > Murcielago > 575 > 456
Realistically, I'll never be able to afford any of these, so it's moot.

But the Ford GT is supercharged where the 360 is natural. It is true about the ferraris narrower powerband, but it still comes down to which engines make the most power from as little engine as possible. Which is why I laugh when I see many of the domestic engines making big power, but wasting large amounts of engine in doing so. Like comparing a Mustang GT to a Honda s2000.

Bhp = Torque x RPM / 5252..
This means that much like Honda engines (yes, Ferrari use a V-Tec like system) the Ferrari will have a smaller, thinner powerband and infact will make it slower around a track...

actually , it doesnt make it slower around a track, its Vtec like system is similar to the lotus elise,and exgie, so when you downshift your right in the 'vtec' band. The 360 and 360CS is one insane track car..... not to mention will beat out anything lambo has to offer....
hell on top gear an evo MR set a lap time, only .2 seconds off of beating the lambo gaeardo

i always wanted a lambo diablo VTTT (sooo rare!!! only 6 produced!!!!!) really beautiful cars with an attitude. while i've gotten a ride in an enzo and that is one hell of a car, i'd still go lambo. soo many people over looked the vttt (the extra 2 t's for the Twin Garett T4 T4 turbo setup added to the regular vt). top speed of 255 much faster than the mclaren f1 LM and all that bs, its got 750hp i dunno why not to many people know about it but it has always been my dream car since i orignally saw a diablo vt in dumb and dumber lol

EVOVIIEXTREME - Nope. I don't like the looks of convertables and to tell you the truth I think the even the hard top Pagani is ugly. I like the Koningegg (sp?) more for what it is (an "underdog" exotic) than what it looks like or does.
But something about a black on black spyder with the see-though engine bay that makes me want to cream my pants.

The Diablo V triple T was my favorite drive of all time!! I forget who posted it earlier, but like him, I was convinced that the car hated me! I'm very partial to Lambo's styling over ferraris. Ferrari's fit and finish actually leaves very much to be desired, in the exapmles I've been lucky enough to drive or ride in. I see a lot of dashboard screws backing themselves out with less than 1k miles on the odo and things of that nature. I dunno, maybe I've been unlucky.
Lamborghini Murcielago.....the yellow color looks pimp! For Ferrari, I like the F50 and the 360 Modena..but the only thing I don t like about Ferrari is that some of their cars have the shifter on steering wheel which is like a playstation steering wheel.hehe. BY THE WAY, was the James Bond's car (Aston Marin V-12 Vanquish) a stick or automatic?
