Ferraris come in red or black, and occasionally yellow, white or silver. Its about respectability. A rosso Ferrari exudes class. A lime green or orange Lambo screams "check me out, I just got my insurance settlement check." Its hard to think of a 280,000 dollar car being trashy, but a purple Murcielago seems to somehow pull it off. For me, Ferrari all the way - the new 430 in black, please.
This is sooo true.
Fererari just exudes refinement, its truly a gentlemans sports car. There is more history surrounding the marque.

Lambo drivers are footbal players and Rap stars (people for the most part that dont know shiit about cars) They come in silly cars and look like space ships. There a bit over the top. Ferrari just portrays a whole different vibe. Truly a refined sounding and looking car. Lambo's are like look Im new money and I got bank beotch...

I've driven a couple of each, and my oppinions.
As a daily car, I'd have to take a 355B. Great handling and great sound. The build quality of the 348 and earlier Ferrari's are questionable (especially for such an expensive car). Drove my friends F40 at a trackday and all I can say is "Holy Schnikies". The thing is an absolute monster. Twin turbo V8 Ferrari, things are getting a little "tight" down below just thinking about it... As for the Lambos I've driven (Countach and Diablo SV), they sound amazing but the ergonomics of the cockpit are iffy, and the footwells are very small ( I needed to take off my shoes since I have big feet and basically drive with my toes).

YMMV,
Greg

Forgetting something?

CARERRA GT

"Absolutely the wildest stock engine I've ever driven." Motor Trend, guest test driver Brian Herta.

Since that was off topic, I'll get back. My ratings for Ferrari and Lamborghini:

Challenge Stradale, Gallardo, 575M, Murcielago, 360M spyder and f1, 456GT.

I have had the opportunity to hear a murcielago and a 360M, hoolllly shi, amazing. but the carrera GT is probably the best new supercar that you can buy.
(biased to porsche)

both cars built crappy however luxury was not there intention. never driven either seen many i say lambo the **** comment is exact the ferraris in general are predictable whereas lambo is wild ***** that will **** you in ways that you didnt think of. it will do unexpected things if you dont keep it under control. lambo in my mind is a superior vehicle simply because it was build to beat ferrari and it does most of the time. as far as sounds go hmm heard more ferraris than lambo i will say they are both equally evil what can i say id drive both but i perhaps may have more passion in a lambo

I love both automakers and I would be happy with either car. If I wanted to be noticed I would get a Lambo (Murcielago in black or yellow or orange), and if I wanted to drive a pure sports car then I would pick the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale without even thinking about it. Damn I love the sound of that car!

raliart where do you see Lambos beating Ferraris? And what makes you think Lamborghini aspires to beat Ferrari? They barely offer any support to the privateers racing their cars and have said time and again that they have no interest in racing.

Ive driven 'em all. Most people that can afford them have both. All the cars are awsome in there own right. Excluding Ferrari Mondials, not into them at all. Oh, and Ferrari and Lambo will paint them any color you want, even Apex Silver or Blue By You

First of all I'd take a McLaren F1, then Ferrari Enzo, F50, F40, Lambo Diablo, Ferrari 288 GTO in that order.

I like the Diablo better than Ferrari's "normal cars" (360, 575, 612 - excluding the F cars, 288 GTO). It is just so aggressive and looks so sick. The Murcielago is too refined for a Lambo, I want ppl to notice a $300k car. Of course they will w/a Murcielago, but a Diablo so more unique. Yes, they will notice a Ferrari too, but personally Lambos just stick out more because of their radical styling.

I can see the argument of the Ferrari as more refined, the Lambo is more aggressive but it is not ghetto fabulous as some ppl make it sound like. Rap stars and athletes get Ferrari's too! Anyways, both companies are sick, and most of us will never be able to own either one anyways..but man its fun to dream!
