Not really, what about a Mclaren F1? That's a stick and it can hit 241mph.

best engineered street car of all time...period! Gordon must have been in some haze of a heroin trip, following the white rabbit when he got his inspiration for that thing. Who cares if it costs a mil and a half.

Engineering. Wind tunnel. Basic physics. Really not that complicated - lots of HP + low drag = fast car.

The only thing you really want when you're going 200+ is a set of really good brakes.

SMGs don't make a difference for high speed, just the rate at which you shift gears.

Well no ****....I dont know about you but when going mad fast I wouldnt want to take my hands off the wheel.I just dont get why Lambo would try to be a Ferrari fighter and not have a factory racing team...just seems odd to me. Still, definitely fast as hell.

Not a fan of the JGTC I take it, huh??? They might not have a huge presence, but they are there, and have been for quite some time. And, with the JGTC as big in Japan as NASCAR is here, that says something.

Jonnysixer - Their stance has always been "to build the best gt's in the world" and has never really focused on motorsports much, so says the president of lamborghini (this is a quote from a Motortrend I read like 3 years ago so don't ask me for a link)

Besides, before audi, they were broke as hell so how could they do it even if they wanted to?

Nasty, I retract my statement. No, I haven't seen much JGTC races. Does Speed channel show them ever?

Lamboghini is the ticket. You see all kinds of ferraris drivin around, but rarely see any lamborghinis. The lambo is more of a rare car becuase their price range is about 190k and up and they dont make a car under 500 hp. Those numbers are hard to beat, and the way those things look just screams "fast as hell"!

Probably the fact that the other cars are still available. How fast did those 399 track terrors sell out? Furthermore, I believe that existing, good-standing Ferrari customers had priority over everyone else to begin with. Was there even a press car? All the automotive magazines and shows I've read and seen had to resort to making requests of some very generous Enzo owners in order to test the car for their publication.

Even the crazy Porsche Carrera GT was given to the media in final production trim. I don't believe that could be said for the Enzo.

At least with a 360 Modena or a Gallardo you can still acquire without a reasonable hassle.

I'd take Pagani. But if I were really to buy a super car, it would be the 360 Spider, second choice Gallardo. Of course I would keep the EVO for practical porposes.
