hey guys i was thinking about turboing my mirage and this guy at out local import racing shop offered me a turbo kit for my car with everything needed to install for $3800 do you guys think that is a reasonable price? please give me your feedback on this one

 

Pretty good price. If that includes all the bells and whistles including installation, you'd be set. Why this was in Audio I don't know *drop kicks to "Other Cars"*

 

If this kit includes everything that you need to complete the install then yeah it's a fair price if the kit is new. Just make sure it has the proper manifold, and a decent fuel management system. For that price i'm assuming it will come with a FMU and pump upgrade, which is good for lower boost turbo kits. Not the best but decent nonetheless.

 

Have the store give you a full list of parts, that should give you a much better idea. Make sure you get everything IN WRITING....

I have seen people being screwed by shops too many times
