Now I'm thinking about a Boxster S
I sold my Boxster S for the EVO.
The Boxster is way too expensive to mod! And gets boring after awhile....
FYI, a friend of mine has a s2000 and the car was even with the boxster.
If you want a cool convertible, go for the s2000 and add a trubo kit!

If he can't fit in the S2k he won't fit in Elise either..
I'd also say get the older 911.
Porsche is a chick magnet, although I see mostly chicks driving Boxters.
(i wouldn't mind hooking up with one of those)

I'm going to have to throw in yet another recommendation for the S2000. Find someone that will let you drive it hard, and you'll be sold. I'd gladly take it over the Boxster S.
There are aftermarket seat rails if you need the seat further back and lower. Additionally, ask davepk on s2ki.com what on earth he did to his S (he tracks the car... a lot. Almost too much). Sounds perfectly normal and muted in slow city driving... not noticable at all, but sounds like a shadow beast on steroids when its at 6K and beyond. Stick the hardtop on it, and enjoy.
I'd take the S2000 over the current Boxster S (though the revised 300HP one in Coupe form will be interesting), and I can say this having had time with both at Watkins Glen. Heck, with a competent driver, an S2000 can actually run with an M3.

I agree with Mrspoot. I'd take an S2k.
You can get used ones in the low $20,000 range, they probably cost alot less to mod and they look better imho. You've probably considered them already. If I could fit in these small RWD cars I wonder if I'd still love the evo as much as I do.
In the $30,000 used car range, have you thought about an NSX?

might as well get a Cayenne HAHAHAHHAHA
the 2 fake porsches
jk, the S isnt slow, but i hate the normal boxster, a real mans car is a 911, the boxster is a different type of porsche, i personally woudl never get a cayenne or a boxster, id rather have an s2000 than a boxster, id take an elise over a boxster S
