Evo 8 vs. Z06... well comparisons anyway..

You all must have some fairly 'good' drivers where you live, because here, all of the Vette drivers are deprived women, or punk-@#$ kids wanting to figure out the best way to 'mash' the accellerator, to show off their American 'muscle.'

Anyhow...with a good driver, the Z06 stomps on my stock EVO "in a straight line." Throw in a corner or two, and the my EVO typically starts walking away, on the streets. I think the Z06 really has to be matched with a 'confident' and good driver to take advantage of it.

Overall I really kinda like the Z06. Seeing them at SCCA events reminds me they have 'more' of a Euro. ride, with a loud American mill in them. As for the older vettes. More body roll than an M5, fully loaded.
