Fixed your typo...

Not a lot of places to go 200 on a bike with the slightest bit of safety in mind. :duno:

no doubt......unless you live near Bonneville I don't think that speed can even be reached on the track.

A stock Busa will not hit 200, not even with a 90 LBS waif whipping the **** out of it. And yes, I do ride, Kawasaki Z1000. A bike for the most part is going to be faster then a car, but the rider has to know what he or she is doing. If I jump on it at any time in first the bars are going to hit my chin, you have to know how to stay just on top of the curve and learn how to shift very quickly, be it with or without the clutch. And the faster cars can give a bike a hard time on the top end, although a bike has very little frontal area their cd sucks as compared to a slipery car. This is not to say that a Z06 will take a Busa from a roll, but once a bike gets it initial jump and drag starts to take over, they do not nescessarily take off as fast as you would think they would. But for all of that my Z1000 would smoke my Evo from a stop. Over 130 mph it might be a different story though, the Z is a standard and it is not very aerodynamic. Ton of fun to ride though.

the top speed on bikes since 2001 is electronically limited at 186mph due to an agreement between bike makers to keep the law off their ***. If you check bike mag reviews a stock Busa averages a top tested speed of about 191mph and bikenet online hit an indicated 196mph.

I don't touch the powertrain on my daily driver because I ride a CBR 929 which is far, far quicker than my Evo. (and before that, E36 M3.)

I put 100lb worth of stereo equipment in my Evo without reservation because of that, too.

<-- I ride a lot of motorcycles on street and dirt.

I am a sportbike guy and have had two. 1st was a GSX600 (cantuna) and a GSX-R600. Loved them both and I am a diehard Suzuki fan.

Here's my funny (but stupid) story:

I rode over to my girlfriend's house to say "what's up" and maybe knock IT out before heading off to work. That plan didn't work since we got into an arugment.

So I storm off to my bike and throw my leg over...not noticing I was standing on oil. My foot sliped and I dropped my bike. The rightside mirror goes flying off. There were some guys across the street sitting on their porch and they start laughing at me.

I am really pissed at this point and go to pick up the bike. Needless to say the Katana is a pig and I could barely get it up. Finally get the stupid thing upright and go to set it on the kick-stand...that came up when I dropped the bike. So the bike just falls on the other side, now the leftside mirror goes flying off.

The guys across the street are now in tears laughing. and I am super pissed finally I get the bike up and ride off with my pride sitting b!tch. As I rode off one of the guys screamed to inform me that I left my mirrors.

Learn from my mistakes and don't ride mad

ok now lets talk price.....
Z06 set up to handle 150 shot of nos at least 60 grand probably more
Very heavily modded TT camero probably 50k
getting an RX-7 down to that weight and and adding those types of mods I would guess 30's....

600 cc bike new 7 grand used 2 grand...
1000 cc bike new 10k used 5k

now with 50 grand in savings what do you think the bike is capable of if you put 10% of that in mods....

Ones a car, has Air bags, atleast 2 seats, doors, radio, car drive in the rain. You really cannot compair bikes and cars due to their prices, bikes are just a motor with a seat strapped to them. Spend more cash you get a comp suspension, they are 99% faster but their margin for error is about as wide as a ****s hair. My boy Just got a BRAND NEW ZX10 R, omg was that thing fast and did it handle, until he hit a patch of sand and slid the ****er under a car, half is arm is gone, scrapped off.

But if you wana argue speeds and track times, well every speed/acceleration/handling record is held by cars, not bikes.

Not to mention the fastest productiomn car will eventually best teh fastest production bike, albeit 100 times the price. Bikes are fast, but 600's lose ommph higher up. The Busa is what 1.3? they pull but eventually hit a wall of air.

Most of teh time the car does not pass the bike until 180+++ for the 1000's, but they eventually run out, need bigger gearing or turbos like that Ghost Rider guy who had a 500WHP Busa, he is dead now.
