The RX-8 is cool, kinda weird looking like a fish though. But still cool. As for $28K, I think that probably would be the base price and fully loaded versions would probably be around $36K. About the same as it's competition the 350Z. Not fact, just what I think.

The new renessis rotary engine is looking mighty impressive.

Usually when you're looking for pics of a car the manufacturer's website is a good place to start.

hmm ...

"The RENESIS, with a targeted 250 hp at 8500 rpm and 159 lb.-ft. of torque at 7500 rpm..."

160 ft/lbs at 7500 rpm? seems a little low to me.

I liked it till I saw those lackluster wheel arches and how they're separate from the hood...that just bumped it lower on my imaginary "most desired cars" list.

However, the 9,000 rpm redline should help to bump it back up a little, right?

I like the car and I think the renesis engine will be better than the F20c in the S2000 I hear that 90% of the torque will be available at 3000 rpm!
