i know this is the wrong section it wont let me post in the right section so im hoping mod can move it =]

Anyways 1month ago 5/1/13 i bought a metal valve cover for evo x
he sent pics etc i have on phone looked pretty much new had 300miles on it !
him and i went thru the price agreed on xxx.xx
so he said he will ship out on monday 5/6/13
so i wait 1 week later i text him asking if he got tracking number etc doesn't reply ...
about 3 weeks later 5/25/13 i see him post wtb thread

i retext him he said he doesnt have the metal valve cover and its the black one...
Then i replied saying yeah that is the plastic one that i already have i need the metal one ( aluminum )
i asked him for a refund 5/26/13
he replies im to busy my mom is dying...
i said okay no problem take your time...
i notice 5/26-28 he logs on here and bump his stuff etc... (in my head why doesnt he have time to just paypal me refund takes less than 5mins... )

i text him are u trying to scam me or anything.. he replies my mom is dying....
i said yeah i know. but its been over a month no item and then u said u dont have the item...

he said WHY WOULD I try to scam you over 150bucks ?
i said well can you please refund then no reply...

5/31/ 13 i then text him again asking why havnt u sent the money if u dont do it by today then ill report to paypal etc...
he said he will send it later tonight .
well its now 6/1/13 and i havnt gotten anything...
Just beware
his story is fishy
still havnt gotten anything or any replies

Just file through Paypal before too much time passes. You'll get your money back. Thanks for posting your story so other members are aware.

Hey a little update i called paypal because i sent it as gift... but they saw that his scamming multiple people on there with Gift and without Gift as services , so they are giving my money back even tho i gift it.

thats actually great news. but you are extremely lucky paypal sided with you on this. what you did violates their TOS and probably would get you banned from them next time. by sending as gift, you are bypassing the fees they collect for goods and services sold. those fees are not only used as a source of profit for paypal, but it also supplies us the manpower when we need to deal with scammers. next time, either you tell the seller to eat the fees or you put up the 3% fees.
