It may look that way, but you don't see the 10 pm's surrounding the issue that tell a different story before, during, and after what is written in the thread. We rarely step into threads to do more than encourage working toward a mutually beneficial solution to problem. Sometimes we have to go farther because it is a clear scam. I have maintained all along that I would give pcfreakguy the benefit of the doubt in that he didn't know it was a counterfeit part - rather than assuming he is a scammer. I still think that is what happened. But when a user tries to avoid paypal fees through "gift" option, has no feedback, sends a fake part, asks that mods remove negative iTrader, demands the mods delete the dispute thread immediately after first response, claims the guy who he sold the fake part to is being ridiculous and does not know what part he has, then decides to refund the money... it becomes a little much.

It's easy for the popcorn gallery to take shots at what they see on stage, but there was plenty that happened behind the scenes for it to go this direction. Maybe give the moderators the same benefit of the doubt?

I think people generally expect moderators to be above the fray of name calling and ridicule. People demand lots of things, just ignore them. When they demand something privately, then get ridiculed publicly, well it just makes them even madder.

As for benefit of the doubt, it's not all moderators. It's just a few of the mods here, not necessarily yourself, have a years long history of predatory attacks and antagonizing, which is/has killed the forum. The vast majority of moderators do their job, log in, clean up threads, merge, delete and move. Nobody sees those. In fact, some people do that stuff for no credit at all, just to help out the forum and people trying to use it.

Then you have a couple who just go around crapping on people, poking fun, and being the star of the popcorn gallery, and doing their best to make sure the popcorn gallery exists. Same people, same problems, every time.

also I think the term is peanut gallery but lets roll with what we got

Exactly. The moderators on this forum are a problem, they do more harm than good.

No, you do what you want to do, regardless of how it affects the forum.

Unfortunately we only notice the bad ones, because they want to be noticed.

Most of them log in, organize threads, clean up spam, welcome people, and enjoy the place.

It's a thankless job, agreed.

This thread really isn't the place for this discussion, you can post a thread about over moderation here:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/si...suggestions-2/

You might not have noticed, but the EvoM Staff has taken a much lighter approach to moderation since late last year.

No, your part of the problem. Your attitude suggest that I was trying to scam initial r90, when I am obviously not trying too. Even before you allowed him to post and leave this thread up. Moderators like you should not be allowed to manage a thread like this. You are not mature enough to handle this type of situation.

True. And then their are some moderators who hand out infractions, for the the same things they do on the forum. And know they shouldn't be doing. It's ridiculous, how they think they dont have to follow the rules like every other member on this forum. Moderators like that, should no longer be moderators. They are a bad example of what a moderator should be.

And another thing. I don't know why my name is posted in this public thread. Initial r90 is not allowed to post my personal information, to the public through this thread. And I never gave him permission to do so. Moderators remove it immediately.

Bovine droppings. Moderation has nothing to do with Evom traffic changes over the years and I strongly disagree with your generalizations. You have no idea of the personal time the all volunteer staff gives to this community to solve sales problems and help with technical issues. Why are you in this thread? Do you have first hand knowledge of this transaction? I have a problem when you attempt to drag your personal issue with a couple moderators into a thread such as this. A lot of time and effort was given to help sort this out, which you apparently depreciate. PM me or any Admin with your concerns and we will talk about it. Kindly keep your off topic remarks out of this sub forum. Thread closed. Thanks.
