Oh, didn't know that. Thought it was the same price as their test and tune. We're pretty much going to richmond cuz it's closer to us and we were planning on heading over to one of the richmond meets after the track.

 

ocho/jhero23 if yal go to vmp thats fine, we can just meet up with yal after we all leave the track; is that cool with yal? Also jhero23, I think in the Richmond thread you said you were from Chesterfield (spelling); if this is the case after yal leave vmp were yal going to stay in that area, or were yal going to head more north towards richmond?

hey fellas most of y'all prolly dont know me n the ones that did prolly dont remember me. i am the AWJunkies guy that started pushing the meets around here to get something going. Black evo clutch problems...ring a bell? lol anyway im back and hadnt been on here because this site urks me to no end but felt loyalty to y'all for being patient for those few weeks I was actually here. Anyway im back and myself and another junkie are planning some pretty big things For us (all wheel drives...y'all included) from track days, to dyno days to parts installs n tuning. He works at a local shop and, well im not gonna put out his personal info...anyway hit either of us up on www.allwheeljunkies.com im slhayden73 and he is homemade-wrx look forward to seeing y'all around. Ill check back here when i can to see what meets y'all got n if i can go. take it easy fellas.

nope...i just got back off of deployment n now imma take some time for myself n the miss' n the Evo itself as i have parts to install n have tuned. ill be back almost solid after june 24th till then it'll be sporatic.

 

What all are you going to install and are you doing it yourself or from a shop? Because I was wondering if you might know how to install cams and such.

 

we can do shop or weekend job on like a saturday if u want but again i wont be back solid till the end of june...ill put you in contact wit a good shop if you need. im not sure i have the tools with me to do that...anyway let me know...pm me if need be, thats the quickest way to get me.

are you going 264 intake or exhaust? id go intake for the 264 if you plan to stagger them otherwise just go 272 for both its the same price better power and can still be brought to the approximate same idle as stock. (with cam gears)

Didn't wanna go to a shop because the cheapest I found around here was $400 bucks and I don't know if I trust them enough to work on my car 8- ( A few people offered to do them for a really good price on the whole install, but I never had the finances then because I was sooo damn broke and they only offered to do em for like about 150 or so . Lol, if I could find somebody again that I trust who can install them for around that price and has done a good job on the evo, I would do it now since I have some money 8- ) I am not in a rush right now, but if somebod can do em, I wanna get them on. Yea, my clutch is starting to go slowly as well, it grabs so weak now, not that it is slipping bad but the engagement is feeling weak even with the ss clutchline I got installed a few months ago!! Anyway, let me know whenever your back in town, we should meet up and gather all the evos together again for the summer time! I am hoping to get my clutch upgraded by late next month and a few other goodies as well.
