Hey frank, it sounds like you need some new tranny fluid. Go with BG Synchroshift, its like butter. (or stick with what came in it from the get go, mitsu oem tranny fluid)

Everything but the exhaust mani came in yesterday. I'm debating on whether to go ahead and throw this stuff on now and just swap mani's when it comes in, or wait.

When was the last time you changed your tranny fluid?

I've been getting horrible gas mileage lately just driving around normally.. I rarely even get on the car that much and it wastes gas like freaking crazy.. I believe just driving around the city/highway I get around 200-220 tops it sucks ***.. Would a custom tune help better my gas than the mail in dynoflash that I have??? Also, I regularly change the oil and clean my air filter so I know that ain't the problem.. Also, ever since I put the walboro in about a year ago I noticed that my gas gauge fluctuates and goes up and down all the damn time.. For example, one minute It would be near the top at the full needle mark, then drop midway between that and a half a tank, and maybe 20-30 miles later it goes to half a tank... Then goes back up, and etc... Not sure what the heck it is but I wanna get this fixed asap!! lol.. Oh yea, I found out why my shifter is notchy as hell, I needa get a tranny drain and refill 8- )

I haven't done my tranny fluid change yet since I first got the car 8- x I was gonna take it to the dealership, but screw the one by my house, and the one in va beach is kinda far.. I will see when and where I will get it changed, was thinking about going bg synchroshift of penzoil synochroshift brand. I've been hearing great things about both of the them.

man you better get on it and change your own fluids!!!

i second the bg synchroshift for the tranny. i think you use about three bottles. i lean towards overkill, but i change my lsd and tranny every 10k. makes it easier to keep track of i couldn't find any around here (didn't really look that hard, just 3 or 4 stores) so i ordered it online. it'll shift better than when you first got the car.

with the fuel pump in there you are going to burn more gas, there's no way around it. as for your gauge bouncing, i'd check the fuel pump to make sure nothing came loose and its in there solid.

i'm heading down to the awd dyno now, to check it out

Your tranny takes 2.98 qts, so fill it up and let it spill a little. Just clean it all up. I did mine and AJs(Assassin) at the same time, its easy man. Definately check your fuel pump man, check to see if the lever that actuall floats in your tank is disconnected or bent.

Howd you do at the dyno???

i took a quick glance at the map and then forgot the address on my table
so i ended up looking on the wrong side of the golf course for about half an hour.

i'm going to head back down there now and take a look see, since i've looked at the map again and have written down the address again

since i don't have a garage i think i'm going to have to look at buying some kind of tent i can toss up in my driveway whenver i need to. i want to put this stuff on my car and the rain is killing me!!

hmm.. so your guys car doesn't do that does it, like the gas gauge fluctuating up and down.. I.e. one minute at full then drop back down to between full and half a tank and then go back up to full then drop back to half and some shiet... I'm to lazy to pull out my fuel pump, but if that seems like the problem I will go ahead and do it.. A few of you guys have a dynoflash as same as me and yours doesnt do it so I am guessing that is not the problem and it is the fuel pump then 8- X
