Exhaust shop........

Hello.. I was wondering if anybody knew a good shop in the 757 area that can help me fix my downpipe rattle on my car. The downpipe fits really close to the frame and makes a nasty rattling sound whenever I hit 2k rpms and anytime I go over small bumps as well. I went to a shop yesterday, but they said they couldn't do anything because I was running a test pipe and the pipe is to thick for them to work on... I didn't want to put the cat back on because I wanted to get this problem fixed before I take it to the track and so far theres been no luck on fixing this crap. If somebody knows a person that can help me fix this problem, pm me as well. Thanks

Space the arm brace; bang the downpipe in with a hammer for it to stop bumping the t-case.

its not touching the arm braces, but I believe its really close to the frame/t-case. I guess I can somehow bang it down. What is the best way to do this without messing up the dp and denting it up?

You actually WANT to dent it. Megan and Authority downpipes are notorious for this problem. Take it off and dent it in that spot. Its a good product all around...

When the dp is on the car, take a market, mark a little circle around the area thats scuffed by the t-case. Get the dp down, slightly dent that area - problem resolved.

Thanks, I appreciate the help ams, Ill try that whenever I get a chance too. I will also be adding some heat wrap around the dp on top of that.
