Grumble, grumble, grumble. I will concede my loss. That damn stock turboed alcoholic of a car of yours. If only I could make instant boost like you Tommy. 26lbs of boost does wonderful things with alcohol injection. Just wait until I get my offroad x-pipe and a couple more lbs of boost, we'll do it again. I'll give you more then one gear to try and catch up though. Ha, Ha.

Huh?? How much power is the stang putting down? Also how much power out of the Evo? I was a little suprised when I read this.

I put down 401whp 394wtq before a couple of other goodies. My numbers now should be about 420whp. Tommy put down about 370awhp. Keep in mind I am running 11lbs of boost on a centrifical supercharger and Tommy is running 26lbs on a turbo. My stang has to weigh a couple hundred lbs more then his evo also. I have an 80lb sub box and other safety add ons that add weight. I also have cats on my car and both front and rear bumper supports unlike tommys whip. He probably weighs about 80lbs less then me also. What happend does make sense when you take those things into account along with his instant boost response and low gearing ( my 373 gearing vs the evos 455 gearing I believe). It also didn't help that I shifted from 3rd to 4th ( which is when he pulled a half car or so) and he just stayed in 4th and never shifted to 5th before he let out and the fun was over. If he shifted into 5th I probably would have pulled the half car back (I would be nearing full boost).
It was fun and we'll do it again after I make a few .............adjustments. Ha ha. Tommys car is very quick for a stock turboed 03 and he definitely won that run under those circumstances. Props to him and his alcoholic car.
