I bought my IX SE and DID NOT want the front plate bracket attached through the front bumper! Anyways, being that I live in MD, I was pulled over for not having the front plate and recieved a ticket (not repair order like most cops would do). I got to thinking that I could design a front bracket that mounts underneath the edge of the bumper so that we wouldn't see any holes when its taken off! Here is what I came up with:

Keep in mind that the "legs" at the bottom would be bent up to mount the plate and the holes at the top are for mounting underneath the front edge of the bumper. They will be Aluminum and powdercoated a dark gray color and include mounting screws. The only thing that sucks is you would have to measure and drill underneath your front bumper into the steel bumper bracket to mount these. Since it is a somewhat "universal" piece, you could mount it anywhere on the front bumper, instead of just the drivers-side.

Cool cool just let me know. I was thinking about the one that you can get through one of the other venders, but if I can drill on the underside of the bumper that would be better for me.
