Where can i get a set of springs installed...

i'm trying to lower my car this week hopefully as i have new rims coming in. i wish i could do it myself but my mechanic buddy is not around to lend me a hand. i'd probably end up breaking something... anyways, i've called a few places up and they all gave me ridiculous prices just to install- 375, 400, 500 does anyone know a knowledgable shop (that wont break anything) that would install some springs at a cheaper price?

ams, isp, and vip garage are all too far from where i live. they're like +45 min. away. Agile automotive is a bit closer but they are soo booked they couldnt do it for another 2 weeks. i might take it down there tho to get my car tuned once i get my turbo.

anyone else know any shops closer to the city?

If you were in IL I'd say come over to my place and I'd give you a hand.
As far as what places are quoting you....that sounds about right.
Changing out springs is fairly labour intensive. Not difficult, just takes a while.

My 2c.

do it yourself if you have the tools and you can rent the spring compressor from advanced auto parts.
