If you're lowered go to the one on Erdman Ave you'll probably get waved, When I had the Lightning and the 5.0 mustang, I didn't have any cats or anything I just gave the dude $20 and he passed me. I haven't had the Evo done yet but I did get my notice so I'm curious to know if anyone has had any problems because I'm lowered.

I don't think it would even matter. In the state of Maryland, it's enough for them to just hook up to and read the emissions logs from the OBD-II. I have done it that way before in both Owings Mills and Annapolis. DO NOT LET THEM DYNO IT! There is already a thread on here of some idiot who recked the door of some poor guys Evo after backing it off a dyno with the door open... right into a wall. Funny thing is... they had it on a front wheel dyno.. if he had actually run it... the car would have wrecked into the wall. OBD-II reading is all that is neccessary. They don't even need to drive your car at all. I insisted on driving up to the reader myself. And that was my dd Honda.

You will not pass the OBDII test running the AEM. You have a couple of options. You can either hook up the stock ECU and so long as it doesn't throw a CEL it should pass, or you can try to go through the process of getting it exempted.
Also as someone else said, if you are lowered there are some locations that won't run you and just waive you and this will get you covered for 2 years until you have to go again.

VA is the worst place for safety inspection and emissions. Good luck.

They don't drive the car in the rollers if your car is new enough, but you car has to go over them to leave, and seeing as though our cars are AWD that means we go where trucks and suv's need to go. Which means they don't take our cars into concideration...

State of MD + AWD lane + not taking our cars into concideration = Bottoming out

The rollers are for obdI cars. I've had trouble getting my supra to pass emissions may times cause of the sniifffer test.

I guess I may have gotten lucky then. Although the honda would have cleared it anyway, when I went through the OBD-II lane, there were no rollers to my recollection. Perhaps I remember it wrong.
