Customer and Good Friend lost in a tragic accident.
As some of you already know by word of mouth, one of our customers and good friends David (hyperrev on evom) Lost his life tragically last night in a fatal car crash in VA. We are posting about this in the midatlantic forum to ask for those who knew him to lend support to his family in any way they can. Just coming to the viewing and funeral would mean a great deal.
David, was personally a good friend of mine as he was to others. Before all the BS spreads about what happened in this accident, let me be clear that we do not have all the information about this accident, but it seems to be a case of street racing that went terribly wrong.
For quite some time now we have asked many of our clientel to "take it to the track".
We even hold events and help with discounts to get them to HPDE's and various open track sessions. We do this to get people more involved in the scene, but more importantly, become better drivers on and OFF the track. Learning the limitations and the consequences of your actions can help you and others stay safe on and OFF the road. Although we all may be guilty of some type of street racing at some point in our lives, we urge everyone to please take great care out there and drive safely. I personally have gone thru too many of these tragedy's and hope that we won't have to hear of one again
We pray for David and his family in this difficult time and hope you all will too. I will post up details about the viewing and funeral, scheduled for this coming weekend.
Thank you for taking the time to read.

we are just getting the information as well. Our condolences go out to his family and all of us friends of his. He was a good guy with great plans for the future. It's a shame he lost his life at such a young age.
I hope that we can all come together as a community to mourn his loss and stand behind one of our fallen brothers.
RIP Dave. We'll miss you buddy.

That's horrible!
Dave was a really good guy and loved sharing his Evo hobby with others. Although he was quite quiet and reserved in person, he loved to talk once you started a conversation with him and was always full of new plans and ideas. I chatted with him a number of times at various outdoor Evo vendor events (from Chic Fil A to Mach V to DTM) over the past few years and most recently met up with him at his house to buy some parts from him and take a ride in his car. I also met his dad who was very nice and clearly supportive of Dave's enthusiasm for cars.
RIP, Dave and condolences to his family.
