My car was tuned by Mike and many upgrades were installed by Dan. Both are great guys and I won't hesitate at all to have Dan tune or upgrade my car. Dan is extremely competent and really knows his stuff.

Based on my experience with the tuner shops, there is no question that the most impressive facility, is CBRD. Not even the Ferrari or Porsche dealers can compare with Chad's place in terms of how thorough his work is and neatness. AMS's facility is not as nice as CBRD's (no one is,) but I held Dan's work in the same regard as CBRD's. JMHO.

Hey, this is Mike @ Atlantic.

Over the years Atlantic Motorsports was a great place to work and serve alot of you guys, however I've personally had to make some changes and go on with my career. The guys at the shop are top notch and I have nothing but great things to say about them.

As far as tuning goes, I am 110% available to any of you, be it advice or actual tuning, I am still around and can be reached via this user name at all times. If anyone has any questions - do not hesitate to PM or email me.

I am currently not working for a shop, nor have any specific plans to do so, but my services are available to anyone that needs them in the area.

Again, I thank all of you for the opportunity - and now you know where to find me if need be.

Thanks again,

Mike

Well I spoke with Peter and he apologized. I can say there were little things wrong with my car but that was easy to fix and not that big of a deal. The major thing with my tranny Peter had no control over. Well he sorta did by hiring that goof ball but he no longer works there and like I said Peter apologized. I can say that Brad there tuner is an excellent tuner. Peter is still willing to work on my car and I believe people deserve second chances. Does this mean I'm going to start taking my car there. Probably not AMS is just too good at there work. I was down at AMS last weekend and I believe I was talking to Dan he seems like a real knowledgeable guy. You have to remember Mike was def. the man and IMO is the best tuner in MD, but we are forgetting the rest of the AMS crew it's like some of you aren't going to give them a chance. Lets just see how time plays out. I wouldn't doubt that Dan becomes one of the top tuners in MD in the next few years.

I'm also looking for a tuner in the area soon. I used altered atmosphere a few times, mach v, and ISP. I regret the altered atmosphere totally, but i needed a tune BAD when i bought my old evo. Mach V seemed like an OK shop and ISP (brad) was very good with AEM EMS, but admitted his flashing cababilities for our ECU was not his bread and butter.

I was thinking next either CBRD / mellon for installs and tune.

I use MSP Motorsports here in Frederick for alot of my installs as well.

So who thinks I should still go to Atlantic Motorsports on Saturday instead of Extreme Motorsports for my cam install and tune?

It's about a 15 minute drive difference from where I am coming from.
