Depending on who you are I guess. I paid hourly when they tuned my DSM a few years back, came out to about $300. Can't say I was happy with the tune or how they tried to upsell me parts to replace parts that were perfectly fine.

DTM has a Mustang Dyno. Im pretty sure their tunes start at $350, maybe a bit more for an AEM.

I can say that every car I've had tuned by Nick @ DTM has been stellar. Hell, we won a National Championship this year on his tunes. I don't think anyone else in this region can even come close to that!

Actually I think I even recall a mostly stock EVO that was tuned by Nick trump a blue built project EVO that was tuned in other parts of this area in the modified class at VIR.

But alas, everyone has preconceived notions about certain things in the past and in the end they are the ones who lose out on having one of the best tuners in the country touch their car.

our basic flash rate is also 350, retune's as long as injectors arent changed are 150.00

this is also on our mustang dyno.

I think our background speaks for itself.

fortunately,

with ams, dtm, vip garage, etc... there are quite a few fantastic shops in the northeast region!

The last car Mike tuned @ AMS was mine

Anyways I have 150% confidence in AMS and there ability to get the Job done.
Cory would not just throw someone new to tune cars just to get the job done

The man is a perfectionist and I am sure with a bit of warming up to the labtop and Dyno Dan will be phenominal

adding to that I would never take my car to extreme or altered

When I got my GTR and needed tuning and work done I called the fine boys over at altered and they were extremely rude and unprofessional.

I took my several thousand dollars elsewhere and had PFSupercars build it and tune it.

Also and this is just hearsay
but at the last GT Live I heard that DTM had a car that blew up on track. And they were trying to source another motor from a customers car. This info came from my good buddy that instructs at VIR and witnessed this. I don't think he had any reason to lie about it..again this what I heard and it was not first hand.

CBRD did my turbo install and did a fantastic job with it. Definitely consider them if you're looking for a shop nearby.

Ahhh and this has what to do with what? At VIR, other than taking a few more top spot wins at Redline Time Attack, we had an Oil Pump failure in our Unlimited Class Car. SO what we did was transplant some parts from IT to a OUR modified vehicle to place in Unlimited as well.
So we basically took a STREET Legal car (that BTW won the NASA Nationals weeks before) and competed against some of the fastest track cars on the east coast.
Here are the results of GT LIVE from VIR last year: http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/results_vir.html
Your boys at the horse farm might want to get there "heresay" straight.
