New Meet Spot in md/dc/va area?
After the 2nd group left an AA County cop showed up in the Target garage. The one problem with the other garage is that it is next to condos. They are mostly empty I believe, but it only takes one resident to call the cops for loud cars.

well, that didn't work out exactly the way it was planned, but i guess it could have been alot worse. Sorry I didn't get to meet all of you, but i had to leave early.
It was nice meeting you evoangel, good idea with the mazdaspeed.
I guess its back to the drawing board, its' a good sign that peopl are willing though...that's something to work with.

If it weren't so cold out I'd be more motivated to actively look for a spot. Maybe I still will.... I've been so lazy LOLI posted in the other forum so I'll just copy what I wrote there...
We really need to find a place where we won't get bothered. The parking garage across from target looks good. I went all the way to the top and level 3 and up there wasn't a single car so I don't imagine someone caring. Maybe when it gets more popular but for now I think its the ideal spot with it being so cold out.

Parking garages (especially nice ones) have cameras..... will def get kicked out even if it's empty.
why not meet close to bel air so pople from up this way will come too. maybe we can all start goin to the meet at buffalo wild wings every other weds. we can combine this meet the bel air meet and the BWW meet and have a real nice one every other week.??
Annapolis is sort of centrally located. It is 35-40 min from my home on the Eastern Shore, approx 45 min from Montgomery County, maybe 30 min from Howard County, 20-30 min from PG County. Ironically, I know of no one who actually lives in Annapolis that comes to these meets.
The Annapolis meets were originally started by the Eastern Shore crowd. Driving out to a locale like Bel Air would be impossible if you consider getting off work, getting dinner, and driving 1 hr and 40 min to go to a meet. Some of us do not get off work till 7 or 8 pm. But it would be great to have a meet with a bigger turnout (like the past White Marsh or Columbia meets).
