Need input

So I was headed into work Friday morning, and hit a patch of ice/snow, and ended up popping the curb around 2 mph, however it was enough force to break the Aero lip that came on the car, and rip the rubber lip off the bottom as well.

Here is what I need from you all, I need options, the prices for the factory Aero lip, and the rubber lip package is over 900 once shipped and all that, not to mention the labor to put it on. What are my options? Can I order an after market lip and install it?

How different is my bumper with the Aero kit from a regular GSR with out the Aero Kit? Is there anything that you all know of with an Aero Kit front that would keep me from installing an aftermarket lip? I thought I read somewhere that there are some parts that are not on the bumper of a car with the Aero kit, that are on the regular GSR fronts.

Any input from you all would be appreciated.

thanks,

caelin~

Thanks for the input Dennis, I was still curious to know if going with the an after market lip will keep my front bumper even with the side skirts when looking at the car from the side. Also if there is a difference in a Aero equipped Evo VS. a non Aero Evo. I heard there was something missing from the Aero equipped Evo bumpers, that is present on the non Aero equipped front bumpers. So I am curious to know if that would keep me from installing the lip.

thanks,

caelin~

Thanks! I am actually talking with Derek of Rexpeed now, so he is answering some of my questions as well.

I think I may go with the varis splitter, rather than the full lip, and then add in some other accesories, possibly even a trunk lip to go wingless.
