Where exactly are you? If you're Fredericksburg (Spotsylvania county) and south you don't have to do emissions at all, just state inspection.

If you're Stafford or north then you'll have to do both emissions (every 2 years) and state inspection (every year). As far as emissions goes though, it should just be plugging into your OBDII and scanning for any codes.

Don't know if you have to remove any sensors in EVOs like in tCs (maf to map sensor) but if you do even though you dont have a cel the scanner wont be able to connect and it will make you fail. A built motor has nothing to do with your emissions as they will not take your engine apart to see whats in it. My coworker at work lives in VA and he has a beater that wont pass emissions or inspection so he just buys his.

Don't live in VA yet. Got offered a job by the DEA and will be moving to VA ( I suppose back to VA since I am former Navy) as soon as my clearance goes through. Debating on selling the Evo or keep it. If emissions are a pain then I will just sell it. AEM has no OBD ports so looks like I will fail, great....

I was looking at houses in Stafford seeing as the job will be in Lorton and won't be too bad of a drive.

Can you get a PO box in another county?

yea I don't know about po box. But unless you're gonna swap out your ems everytime you do emissions your only option is to pay.

Any tuners in VA that have experience with 6262 forward facing set ups and have the ability to tune on the dyno?

Hey guys thank you for the kind words about us. I don't like to brag but Chris is one of the best tuners hands down. He is a ASE Master tech also. We are in the heart of Nova D.C. area. If anyone needs anything let us know.
