Bad Experience at AMSTuning!
I would go to LMS for the install on all the parts then call Chad for a tune.
Never heard one bad thing from lonnie @ LMS or chad @ CBRD
Heard about 10000000 bad things from AMS
But hey go where you want.

Ah yes....testimonials. The weakest of argument yet the strongest of emotions.
My experience with Atlantic Motorsports, although short in duration, has been wonderful. I bought Fortune-Auto's Endura-Tech coilovers. I was greeted by someone right away and asked for Cory. Cory came out of the back shop and immediately shook my hand. While I was there, we looked at my car and Cory, along w/someone else from the shop (don't know his name) conducted an impromptu inspection of my vehicle: brakes, engine, body lines, etc...
They did this after I informed them I recently purchased the vehicle. Cory even "fixed" some interior pieces that were out of alignment. He never "pushed" any products on me, he just stated what they prefer on their vehicles. In my line of profession, i work with "pushy" individuals and Cory is far from it.
Overall, I was impressed w/Cory. He is very candid, cordial...yet keeps it professional. I appreciate professionalism. It's hard to find a shop with professional individuals. I look forward to working with them in the future.
On a side note, however, I would suggest Atlantic Motorsports get some portable phones to take into the shop area. I have tried to contact Cory (or anyone at AMS) for the past couple of days and was unsuccessful.
Just an observation: Cory is a very fast talker and thinker. I could see how someone would mistake that for being "pushy"....and those individuals are usually the ones that can't keep up with conversations either.

i think plenty of us have had problems.
Silver06evo9mr,
This has been brought up do death. Part of the situation is all the cars you're refering to had the same base map. Mike used the same base map and altered them for the different cars. Yes, the maps were not that great...
PART OF THE REASON MIKE HASN'T WORKED HERE IN ALMOST 2 YEARS.
We'd GLADLY retune your car for free. And the 5 others. Dan is an excellent tuner. Hell, our one and only car that went to the CBRD dyno day walked away with a first place win. We can't be too terrible with that. We won our class and had the fastest lap at the NASA event on Saturday at Summit. You speak on something you know little about. Yes, Mike cheated and used the same base maps as the cars were very similar. It's beyond my control. What I can do is fix it. Like I offered to you almost 2 years ago when this came up. You refused. It's done and done.
We all know you hate us. That's great. Please find another release in life than trolling forums to talk smack about us. I'm quite happy you're so enthused about your current shop and tuner. After dealing with you, I'm glad it's not us. So please, move on. Your input has been noted. We don't need to hear your broken record of complaints.
To all that support us, Thank You. You can't please everyone in this world. **** happens. It's how you deal with it that matters. We do all we can to help our customers. If we've made a mistake, we do all we can to fix it. We're only human, like most of you.
Silver06evo9mr, if you have more to say to me, please, PM me, call the shop, email me, stop by. But your **** talking is old and childish.

I have been to AMtuning several time, with nothing but great results. The customer service is always top notch.
Corey always goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. I remembed when my car got broken into, and they were pulling parts off of old cars to help piece my car back together.
Great shop, and probably the best shop I have been to as far as customer service goes...no joke.

Your right it is old and childish. I think i helped stear enough business away from you already. Thanks for the laugh though.
dang Silver,,, lots of haterade in u and im in the outside looking in. if the guy (mike) IS gone for 2 years can i ask u this,,, why u still hating? its obviously done by another person. u shooting sh*t to deaf ears i think and spreading real old stuff. let the hate go my friend,,, its not healthy. if i were to have a bad experience with any company id just state hey try on ur on risk,, u on some hang on there jock type stuff. and like im saying its seen by from the outside looking in. dont know ya,, just stating how u are looking right now. lol
I guess what I can gather is the following:
From the individuals I heard of regarding AMS the issues they had were not real recent but at least 2 years ago. This meaning then that something was off, but perhaps things have changed for the better and AMstuning is different nowadays. It just goes to show problems of the past can ruin a companies name or 1 mishap etc. If I found out the mapping problem I'd really be weary of going to that shop, but it's in the past I assume. Thank you amstuning for responding and atleast explaining what's going on.
Silver, thanks for sharing what happened also. THis just goes to show everybody that it truly is tricky to decide for who to work on your evo.

broham i congratulate, u are right on impression when i was in the market like u i was told things about them but i also made the choice myself and not hate on a 2 year old situation. im glad on what i and the events that happened to me, they showed they do care. nowadays that means alot to a customer. believe me i was told about shops closer but i made the 2 to 3 hr drive to go to AMS.
like he said everyone cant be made happy and noones perfect but its about resiliency (being able to bounce back from setbacks,) and id get praise to the next shop too if i were to go there too in the same situation, if i had a bad experience id set caution but im not going to take food from there tables either. thats extreme hating
