PART OF THE REASON MIKE HASN'T WORKED HERE IN ALMOST 2 YEARS.

We'd GLADLY retune your car for free. And the 5 others. Dan is an excellent tuner. Hell, our one and only car that went to the CBRD dyno day walked away with a first place win. We can't be too terrible with that. We won our class and had the fastest lap at the NASA event on Saturday at Summit. You speak on something you know little about. Yes, Mike cheated and used the same base maps as the cars were very similar. It's beyond my control. What I can do is fix it. Like I offered to you almost 2 years ago when this came up. You refused. It's done and done.

We all know you hate us. That's great. Please find another release in life than trolling forums to talk smack about us. I'm quite happy you're so enthused about your current shop and tuner. After dealing with you, I'm glad it's not us. So please, move on. Your input has been noted. We don't need to hear your broken record of complaints.

To all that support us, Thank You. You can't please everyone in this world. **** happens. It's how you deal with it that matters. We do all we can to help our customers. If we've made a mistake, we do all we can to fix it. We're only human, like most of you.

Silver06evo9mr, if you have more to say to me, please, PM me, call the shop, email me, stop by. But your **** talking is old and childish.

Whats up Cory!! Long time!!

Everyone has different thoughts on shops- AMStuning has passion for what they do, not just a paycheck or job. I cant tell you how many times I went to AMStuning just to shoot the **** about cars- and they got into it too!! If I were on the East Coast still, id be at one of the bbq's, drinking a cold one with some great guys. P.S. Cory, did you ever get waveguides put in???lol.

Since everyone wants to gang up on Silver try and explain this one to me:

I took my car to AMS 2 years ago. I was going to another shop at the time but I heard great things about AMS so I switched shops and went there. I dropped my car to get a number of things done:

1. Shep Tranny
2. ACT lightweight flywheel (it was to replace my existing resurfaced flywheel I had that went with my ACT clutch)
3. SS clutch lines
4. Lower motor mounts
5. Walbro 225 fuel pump
6. HKS 272s (I wanted cosworth at the time but they insisted HKS cams)

Numbers 2,3, and 4 never got installed. I paid up front but when I went to pick up my car those things weren't on my invoice. I talked to Cory and he had no explanation as to why they were never installed. He gladly refunded my money but still they never got installed.

Now for the Shep tranny. Since I was getting cams installed and a shep tranny installed at the same time, I knew I was going to need a tune but, I also needed to break in my brand new transmission. When I dropped my car off they told me they were just going to put a base flash in until I got my transmission broken in and then, I was to schedule an appointment to get it a full "tune".

After a few weeks of waiting for my car (since Shep takes around 4 weeks to do a transmission) I get a call from AMS saying my car is ready to be picked up. I drove down there and low and behold my car is up on the dyno getting tuned (anyone that knows me I like to be there when my car is getting tuned I was pretty frustrated). I show up and they told me they just got off the phone with Shep and they said that I don't need to break in my transmission so, they went ahead and started tuning my car without my permission(which is BS it's a 500 mile break in period so I knew they were lying to me). It was funny though because when I got there they only did two pulls and they were done? Mike was the tuner then so I'm not going to get into that.

Also they never bled my lifters and I had horrible lifter tap for the longest time. I had another reputable shop do a BR head and GSC S2's so no more lifter tap and it was done right this time.

Now for there work. I had another reputable shop do my Exedy twin they told me a backing plate bolt was missing and the trans plate that protects the flywheel was missing a bolt (AMS was the only one to touch my transmission last so I knew it was them). Also I had AMS try fixing my EGR valve code which came back on when I was driving home from there. They cable tied my egr solenoid under the intake manifold and it was just dangling there so, the reputable shop put it back in it's right place. (Talk about some sloppy work).

Wow that's a long post but can anyone explain that?

I know people and shops change and this was 2 years ago, they might not be like this now.

Land,

Apparently my research is dead on because Show is saying 2 years ago and mentioning Mike. This is the same guy who "cheated" so I'd have to say he trashed the name. Clearly, I have yet to hear a "last week this happened to me" story so I'll give 2 points to AMs here. BUt thank you Show for letting us know what happened. I'd have been fuming if that had happened. One thing ams has is a nicec r32 skyline. I got to give kudos on that at least.
UNtil next time

Just stating my experience. Just like everyone else good or bad. Like I said and everyone else it was 2 years ago. I'm sure they changed. It's over and done with I've moved on and I'm sure they have too. I wish AMS the best of luck

Again...I have nothing bad to say about Corey (whattup doood!) or AMSTuning.

the people at AMS are nice, professional, and FAR from condescending (some shop owner's seem to think that they know EVERYTHING)

Corey and his peeps are down to earth, and that damn Skyline I see every time I go makes me salivate my **** off.

I guess its a case to case basis w/ AMS (as is almost EVERY business).

Props to AMS for making my ride look and run the way it does today!
