I just read about this over on MidwestLancers.com. If you would be willing to let a poor kid like me come, I will be there with my 04 Lancer OZ with some Evo parts bolted on. I can spread the word around Kokomo. Is this event only for Evolutions or can I invite my buddy with his 04 STi? Keep me posted on what the date will be.

Spread the word up there shado, im sure there are a lot of people who would like to see your car, me included. last year at the show, i had a lot of people from tipton/kokomo come down. i am looking at the 21st of april or may 15th. read next post.

 

Ok, we now have lift off. i secured a ramp at the local airport for some events. its 3 miles or so from the car show area. the food/ drinks stay at the office (car show area on the grass) at we can convoy to the airport for events. i was thinking we will have 3 events, timed and, a trophy for the winners of the events.

event 1: 0-100-0 mph

( this will still work with larger rims, we will be using a police radar gun, and a car in the distance will flash on their headlights once you reached 100mph.......thats when you brake!

event 2: strait line slalom course (timed not speed)

event 3: "coned" race course. timed over 3 laps.

of course there are trophies for other classes, last year i gave out 19 trophies, along with prizes. please pm me on how many are comming and typees of cars. i have to order the food and plan on how long i need the airport. the dates are either April 23rd or may 14th. if you have plans those days....CANCEL THEM!!!!

 

I got screwed out of a trophy last year the guy running this is a complete stroke! haha JKJK you know I'll be in attendance. Kevin I saw you called this morning, wtf man you know I don't get up that early! I'll talk to you guys soon...

ps.... don't count on Idriveawhitetool to have that white tool to drive come car show time DOH!

 

The car show is for ALL imports and american muscle cars. the more imports the better!!!!!!!!!!

I did call you this AM, but when you didn't answer, i thought you got hung up in your barney onesie when you jumped out of your bunk-bed, and didnt make it to the phone in time. jk. what is happening with white tools tool? wife laying down the hammer? i better steal-er- get some of his parts before it goes bye-bye.

Fantastic Kevin!! I will be there and I hope to have my brother there with his Civic as well. I look forward to it and will hold both of those date on my calendar.

Just got my Evo dynoflashed this weekend. Can't wait to run the events.

Where is this at exactly? I'm thinking of going. I was gonna showcase my car at HIN Chicago this year but it's my g/f's bday so I don't think i'm going. But I can show it off here instead . Not too sure about the dates though...Apr. 23rd is the day before my bday and May14th falls on the weekend of my mom's bday. hehe...i might have to cancel one of them depending on the which date you guys decide.

 

The show is in McCordsville. northeast of indy. on the map find I465 and I70 on the east side of indy. drive east on I70 toward ohio and get off the mt. comfort exit, drive north. the show is 5 miles north of I70 on Mt. comfort road. the airport is 1-2 miles north of I70. it looks like you might spend one of the birthdays down here! I'll have the cake ready!
